In 2009, the Boy Scouts of America added Victorinox Swiss Army to their exclusive list of licensees. Victorinox Swiss Army is the U.S. distributor for Victorinox, a leading producer of pocket tools, the originator of the Swiss army knife, and is world renowned as a symbol of Swiss quality and functionality.
At that time, they officially re-released their line of Boy Scouts of America Swiss Army Knives and Tools. But they have been known for many years as the originator and producer of the Swiss Army Knife.
Victorinox started as a company way back in 1884 as a cutlery manufacturer, making cutlery for local Swiss clientele. Before long, their business was expanding at an amazing rate. It wasn't until then that Victorinox began manufacturing the Swiss army knives which it has become so famous for.
Victorinox currently carries dozens of different types of Swiss army knives, each with its own combination of blades and tools, in literally hundreds of different styles, including the BSA-clad, classic red style. What is so amazing is that although these knives are known to last through generations, and are extremely rugged and well-built, and imported from Switzerland, the price of each knife will rarely exceed $50 USD.
They also added two other products to their Boy Scouts of America line - the Swistool and the Mini-Multi-Tool, each proudly displaying the BSA logo.
And they don't just make Swiss army knives. They are also known for their top-quality line of kitchen cutlery, kitchen tools, pocket tools, watches, luggage, and clothing.
TrailStop, as an official Boy Scouts of America Licensee, is proud to carry the Victorinox line of BSA Swiss army knives and tools. If you haven't done so yet, click this link to check them all out!
